Overview: The organisers of the Sunderland City 10K and Sunderland City Council are delighted to announce that the inaugural Marathon of The North will take place on May 6th 2012. This will be the first major road marathon in the north east region and will undoubtedly attract participants from far and wide. Make sure you enter early to ensure your place in the first ever Marathon of The North.
