Stafford Half Marathon

Overview: The 2011 Half Marathon will start in Stafford Street, Stafford town centre, at 10am (new time for 2011). The route will head out from the town centre into Stafford's surrounding countryside on traffic-controlled roads, incorporating two steady climbs before returning to the Market Square via Victoria Park. Chip timing tags will be issued to all runners. There is a full range of prize categories with technical T-shirts for all finishers.

  • Terms and Conditions: All participants who enter agree that they are an amateur under UK Athletics laws and declare that they will be 17 years or over on the day of the race. They accept that they are medically fit to participate in the event and that the organisers shall not be liable for any accidents, injury, loss or damage as a consequence of their participation in the race. All places are non refundable and entries cannot be deferred to 2012. Places may be transferred to another runner, personal details of the new runner must be provided in full by Friday 11 March 2011 to conform to UK Athletics rules. Places are available on a first come first saved basis (max. 2000 online places) Entries can only be guaranteed once we have received your entry details and payment before the closing date (Friday 14 January 2011) Runbritain is a ticket agent for the Stafford Half Marathon, personal details will be passed to the event organisers in order for race numbers and handbooks to be posted out in early March 2011. Please advise the event management team if you change your address. Email addresses will be forwarded to the official race photographers SportCam. Following the event SportCam will send runners a link to an individual images gallery. All email addresses will be deleted by SportCam once the initial email has been sent. Photographs and video footage will also be taken for marketing purposes. Race start 10am - new time for 2011, course closes at 12.30pm. Participants are advised not to walk around the course (allows a minimum pace of 11 minutes per mile) Fast course 13.1 miles, accurately measured. The event is run under UK Athletics rules. UK Athletics race licence number 2010-101267 Technical T-shirts for all finishers (new for 2011) Chip timing, prizes for open and vet categories, one prize per individual.
