Stafford Half Marathon

Overview: The 2012 Stafford Half Marathon will start in Stafford Street in Stafford town centre at 10am (Don't forget the clocks spring forward by an hour into 'Summer Time' on the morning of Sunday 25 March 2012!) The route will head out from the town centre into Stafford's surrounding countryside on traffic-controlled roads, incorporating two steady climbs before returning to the Market Square via Victoria Park. Chip timing tags will be issued to all runners, there is a full range of prize categories with technical T-shirts AND medals for all finishers. Please note there is no hand cycling category for the 2012 event

Terms and Conditions: All participants who enter the Stafford Half Marathon agree that they are an amateur under UK Athletics laws and declare that they will be 17 years or over on the day of the race. If participants are under 18 parental or gaurdian permission is required. They accept that they are medically fit to participate in the event and that the organisers shall not be liable for any accidents, injury, loss or damage as a consequence of their participation in the race. All places are non refundable and entries cannot be deferred to 2013. Places may be transferred to another runner, however the personal details of the new runner must be provided in full by Friday 16 March 2012 to conform to UK Athletics rules and health & safety practice. There will be no on the day entries for the 2012 event. Places are available on a first come first served basis (maximum 2,000 on line places) Entries can only be guaranteed once we have received your entry details and payment before the closing date. Runbritain is a ticket agent for the Stafford Half Marathon, selling places for the event. personal details will be passed to the event organisers and race numbers and handbooks will be posted out prior to the race day (March 2012) Please advise the event management team if you change your address Email addresses will be forwarded to the official race photographers. Following the event they will send runners a link to an individual images gallery giving them an option to purchase certificates and photographs. All email addresses will be deleted by the race photographers once this initial email has been sent Photographs and video footage will also be taken for marketing purposes. Course closes at 12.30pm, participants are advised not to walk around the course, pace 11 minute miles or less. Fast course 13.1 miles, accurately measured.
