Double Olympic and world champion Mo Farah (handicap -6.9) gave the sell-out crowds at the Glasgow Indoor Grand Prix plenty to cheer about as he won the 3,000m on Saturday before moving to Birmingham on Sunday to run two miles with fans of Britain's greatest ever distance runner.

The Armagh International Road Races, that took place last night out-did last year's record-breaking results with 67 men running under 15 minutes in the 5k event and 28 women running under 10 minutes in the 3k event.

The 26th running of the Armagh International Road Races take place tonight. Record numbers have entered the race and 72 of those are men who have previously broken 15 minutes for 5km and so it is looking likely that last year's record of 56 under 15 minutes will be broken. The women's 3k race is also expecting great things with 28 entrants who have previously broken10 minutes.
