The 3rd Podplus Ashford & District Marathon and Half Marathon - Ashford & District Half Marathon

After a successful year the Ashford & District Marathon & Half Marathon returns to Kent for a third year and is ideal for those who prefer an alternative to the big city, mass participation spring marathons. This rural marathon and half marathon uses the quiet lanes surrounding Ashford, Westwell and Charing with a section along the Pilgrims Way. The marathon is a two-lap scenic multi-terrain course with half marathon runners covering a single lap.

The course is undulating but fast times can be recorded. The race is suitable for both experienced and first-time marathon or half marathon runners.

A bespoke medals and finish line goodies are on offer for all finishers, there are prizes for the leading runners plus there are refreshments. Aid stations will be plentiful and well-stocked!

The race is generously sponsored by PodPlus. A local sports shop and injury clinic based at the Julie Rose Stadium, Ashford. You can find details on their services on their website
