Hook Fun Run & Road Races - Martin & Co Hook 10 Mile
For 2017 our 10-mile runners will again get to experience the new course that was successfully put in place for our 25th year in 2016. The course starts with a loop of Hook, then heads out to the leafy and picturesque villages of Rotherwick and Newnham, before culminating in a fast home straight back into Hook centre.
The start and finish of the route will be in Hartletts Park, meaning that once again we can use the fantastic facilities at the newly revamped Hook Community Centre. In 2016, crowds of supporters came out to cheer on nearly 1,200 finishers across all our distances, making for a really great atmosphere throughout the event.
• All finishers will get a medal. • There are toilets, showers, refreshments, a baggage hall, changing areas and physiotherapy services. • Chip timing will be used. • There will be four water stations around the course. • Minimum age for entry is 17 years.
This online entry page is for the Hook 10 Mile, not to be confused with the Hook 10K on the same day.
Note also that, in order to minimize the duration of road closures, we have a 2-hour cut off time for the 10-mile route. With this in mind, runners with an expected average pace of slower than 12-minute miles are advised to enter our 10K event.
More information about the event and course is always available at www.hookfunrun.com
Please be aware that we cannot issue refunds under any circumstances. In the event of injury entrants may switch to a shorter distance without refund of any price difference.
