Newbury 10k - Adult 10k Race (Min age 16 years)

We are excited to announce the return of the Newbury 10k ‒ the 13th staging of this popular event and the first since 2019. The race will start and finish in a vibrant atmosphere at the centre of the idyllic market town. There is a gentle climb for the first 3km, followed by a short descent and the rest of the course is flat. Approximately 7km of the course is on the road, with the remainder taking place on footpaths in beautiful surrounding countryside and along the tow path of the Kennet and Avon Canal, which passes directly through the town centre.

There is plenty of parking close to the race HQ, and an abundance of local cafés and restaurants offering post-race refreshments for runners and spectators.

This event warmly welcomes entries from runners of all abilities, from novices to experienced athletes. All competitors will be rewarded with plenty of support, water stations and a medal & t-shirt at the finish. Plus there will be two pre-event races for under 16's ‒ enter your children early to avoid disappointment as places are limited.
