Alder Hey Run Together 5k in Country Park
Alder Hey Children’s Charity raises vital funds to help make Alder Hey Children’s Hospital a truly world-class, patient-friendly hospital for the 330,000 patients and families they care for every year.
The beautiful 500 acre site at Croxteth Hall & Country Park will provide the backdrop for the 2019 Alder Hey Run Together 5k on Sunday 22nd September.
The new chip timed officially measured Run Together 5k route will take in a number of the parks best features and will finish outside of the spectacular Croxteth Hall where family, friends and supporters will be gathered.
This short and easy route around Croxteth Hall is perfect for all ages and abilities and welcome prams, children, wheelchairs and dogs. Runners are encouraged to run in their favourite Alder Hey pyjamas.
Alongside the running, the Athlete Village will provide visitors with lots of activities and attractions. All runners will receive a unique medal, finishers t-shirt, water and snack at the finish line. Prices start at just £5 for children (under 16), £10 for adults and £20 for a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children) with 100% of the entry fee going directly to Alder Hey Children’s Charity.

The event will enable Alder Hey Children’s Charity to raise vital funds to support the hospital’s pioneering work, to improve the quality of life for not only the young people we treat each year, but through innovations and research into childhood diseases, the quality of life for children across the world.”
A Guinness World Record will also be attempted on the day of the run for the most runners linked together to complete a 5k. The current world record sits with Aurna World Record Team in Cincinnati who had a total of 190 people taking part in May 2017.
