We are pleased to announce the summer solstice winner of this week's #clickyourclock competition as  Paul Fryers (handicap 11.1) from Penistone.

As many of you know, throughout 2017 we are rewarding runners who have improved their handicap score  with a Polar heart rate monitor.

The competition runs during the spring and summer months. Each week a random draw is made from all runners on the #clickyourclock leaderboard whose scores have improved by any amount in the preceding seven days and the prize is a Polar FT1 heart rate monitor.

This week, there were 818 clocks clicked and, out of those, 381 showed an improvement and went into the draw.

Paul Fryers has been randomly picked this week and will soon be receiving his prize. The handicap scoring system rewards regular racing as well as improved performances.  Paul is an active runner, with over 20 events already this year! He achieved a time of 29:13 at the Oughtibridge Gala Chase 6k last weekend. This saw an improvement of 0.121 for the week.  Well done to Paul Fryers!

Don't forget there are many warmer racing days available this week as evening events are abundant, so claim your handicap now and be ready to #clickyourclock after your race this week!

Good luck!
