Burnham Beeches Half Marathon and 10k takes place on 11th August 2019 - get your VIP entry!

The final VIP parking places are available to the first 600 entries with discounts available for the first 1000 before April 30th.

The Burnham Beeches races start  at Caldicott School in Farnham Common which is an excellent location for the race village especially as they kindly allow use of their swimming pool after the race.  Given that the event is in August the swimming pool is a great attraction!

The half marathon course is two laps mostly in the cooling shade of the Burnham Beeches ancient woodland. The surface is a combination of hard surfaced woodland paths and closed rural lanes with the start and finish on the school playing field. Road shoes are most suitable. 

A 10k option was introduced in 2016 and has proven very popular. This is one lap of a very similar route to the half. 

The race has built a strong reputation as one of the best half marathons in the south of England, attracting runners over a very wide area. Although it’s a challenging undulating course, the hills aren’t steep or long. 

The event is also well-known for its interesting medal and finisher shirt that impresses each year. This year's medal is a double sided chunky piece of prize bling inspired by the ever popular London Marathon medal! The shirt has a love theme with the first 1,000 entrants having their name on the back. 

The first 600 also get a VIP parking place close to the Race Village and start.

There is an early bird price offer for the first 1,000 entries which will close on 30 April at the latest. Entries are limited to 1,700 and was filled up last year in June.
