Behind the elites, more than 14,000 runners completed the scenic course, which takes in many of the capital’s best known sights, including Trafalgar Square, St Paul’s Cathedral, Whitehall and Parliament Square and many celebrated personal best times and improved handicap scores.

All runners currently on the leaderboard who have improved their handicap score in the race they have done during the last week will be entered into the prize draw for the Polar A300 Fitness and Activity Tracker along with anyone else who clicks their clock and sees an improvement from their race.

Marcelo Fortes (handicap 16.4) is currently top of the leaderboard after his 6:35 one mile run in London. Sandra Band (handicap 14.2) is the top woman presently having run at the Strathclyde parkrun in 22:09. Both improved their handicap score substantially over 10% in both cases. Well done to you both!

Did you improve your score this weekend? If so, be sure to #clickyourclock before 12 o' clock tomorrow when the competition finishes for this week!
