Greater Manchester Marathon is back for 2013

Taking place on Sunday 28 April, the Greater Manchester Marathon boasts the flattest marathon route in the UK and one of the flattest in Europe with only 53m elevation gain, which makes it perfect for first time marathon runners, seasoned athletes and PB chasers alike.

The Greater Manchester Marathon starts and finishes outside Manchester United Football Club and takes in the Trafford Quays area, Sale, Brooklands, Timperley, Altrincham and Urmston as well as the Imperial War Museum and Media City.
