Last few days for July Reward Running

Reward Running

Are you racing today? Or in the next five days? Will you have reduced your handicap score by more than five during July?

If so, make sure you sign up for Reward Running before the end of the month.

Currently, we have three runners who have already reduced their score by more than four points:

Dan Summers (handicap 9.2) is our current leader. He started the month on 13.8 and then put in three great performances at the Chelmsford Central parkrun, Springfield Striders Friday Night 5, and the Harlow 10 and gradually chipped away at his score.

Meanwhile, David Taylor (handicap 16.9) started his month on 21.5 and with just two races: The Berryhill 10k and JCB Lakeside 5, took a couple of good chunks off his score.

Then we have David Day (handicap 10.0) who has also run two races: Didcot 5 and Hornton 6 and pulled his score down from 14.1.

Where are you racing over the next few days? Can you bring your score down by more than four points?

This competition, sponsored by Polar, rewards runners who have improved their handicap score by the largest amount with a Polar Heart Rate Monitor.

At the end of each month from March until October, the runner who improves their handicap the most in that month will receive a Polar heart rate monitor.

It doesn't matter when in the month you enter the competition, your scores will count for the whole month so good luck with your racing today! When you get home, don't forget to enter this month's competition. Please go to your profile page and click the Enter button.

Good luck with bringing your July score down!
