Littleborough Lions 5k Charity Fun Run

The Littleborough Lions 5k Charity Fun Run takes place on Tuesday 28 August at 7pm.

The scenic, undulating course circumnavigates Hollingworth Lake which is in the foothills of the Pennines close to the Lancashire/Yorkshire border.

The annual event has been organised for over ten years and has a committed group of competitors who return year-on-year.

The event starts and finishes at the Conservative Club on Peel St in Littleborough and there are prizes for the first man and woman, first veteran and first under-16.

Littleborough Lions is one branch of an International Charity Organisation. All the money raised from the event, with no expenses deducted, goes to local causes.

Entries are:

*Seniors: £4.00 (attached); £6.00 (unattached)

*Juniors: £3.00 (attached); £5.00 (unattached)

Entries are available on the day with an added charge of £1.
