runbritain appoint RUN247 as charity sales partner

The road running arm of UK Athletics – runbritain – has appointed RUN247 as the official charity sales partner with all profits continuing to be invested back into the development of endurance running in the UK.

With the fastest growing online race entry service in the UK for race organisers via which has grown exponentially to be one of the largest in the UK and the cheapest in the country, income is generated through digital advertising space on the website and online entry pages.

Speaking of RUN247’s appointment, UK Athletics CEO Jo Coates said:

“It is crucial that as soon as race organisers are able to begin planning events again, we have partners who can help runbritain bring investment into the sport. We are confident that when the time comes the developments planned by runbritain for the next couple of years will make a huge impact on the running market and we’ll be updating charities with the opportunities involved very soon.”

RUN247 – part of – has already commenced research with existing advertisers of runbritain and will use their expertise alongside this feedback to launch new marketing packages which will offer charities additional features to help increase the amount raised.
