runbritain Grand Prix update
Following round two of the 2012 runbritain Grand Prix at the Bupa London 10,000 on Sunday 27 May, the updated Grand Prix standings have now been published on our dedicated GP page.
runbritain Grand Prix points are awarded at each race for the leading 250 British finishers only (those eligible to compete for Great Britain and Northern Ireland) and a runner’s best four individual points scores from the five Grand Prix races count towards their final total.
Enfield & Haringey’s Jon Pepper currently leads the men’s standings with 482 points after finishing 16th overall in the Mizuno Reading Half Marathon on 1 April and 14th overall in the Bupa London 10,000.
David Bruce (Highgate) and Matt Janes (Bedford & County) are second (475) and third (470) respectively, while Jonathan Thewlis (Notts) - who has also completed both races in the series to date - has 468 points in fourth.

Juliet Doyle of Charnwood and Emily Wicks of Aldershot, Farnham & District are joint leaders in the women’s standings with 492 points as the Grand Prix now takes a break over the next few months before recommencing at the Admiral Swansea Bay 10k on Sunday 23 September.
Annabel Granger is currently 20 points behind in third with 472 points.
