Good times were to be had at the Milton Keynes Winter Half Marathon and, on this course that was given an SSS of just 0.6, hanicap scores tumbled. The overall winner, Kris Gauson (handicap -0.9), took a huge 1.9 from his score for running the 13.1 mile route in 69:32 whilst women's winner, Sarah Urwin-Mann (handicap 5.2) took 0.4 from her score with a time of 83:53.

The Keyworth Turkey Trot Half Marathon was given an SSS of 0.8 and both male and female winners reduced their handicap scores by 0.1. Andrew Fuller (handicap -1.4) won the race in 72:58 and Katie Lomas (handicap 3.3) was first woman in 83:01.

*Early indications suggest that the Telford 10k will also show reduced handicap scores but the results have still to be confirmed and we hope to have the finalised version later today.
