Nick Goolab eclipses Mo Farah and Rob Denmark's 5k record

Nick Goolab was the star performer over the international weekend of racing to eclipse Mo Farah and Rob Denmark's 13:30 record as the UK record holder over 5k on the road with a sensational 13:27 behind a new World record by Joshua Cheptegei (UGA) in 12:51. Ben Connor and Charlotte Arter were half marathon heroes in Barcelona with sterling performances to rise up the runbritain rankings. Mo Farah is now 4thon the national ladder.

Armagh International Road Races see records tumble in 3k and 5k

It was another fantastic night of racing around the city centre Mall of Armagh organised by Armagh AC recently. As always, there were a vast number of fast times, with 142 men hitting a sub 15 minute chipped time in the 5k, and 52 women hitting sub 10 minutes in the Women's 3k.Senior and U20 course records fell inboth men's and women's events.
