Ridiculously overpriced race, although it as a lot of potential and it is a race I and many others would love to do - it is okay being optimistic and they may catch the odd naive new runner in the first year but if the organisers want their marathon to be a annual event then I would re-think their pricing of the event.

Way too expensive and a first year event dont know where they got the last year numbers from as there wasnt a race last year i dont think??. looks like the organisors have never even timed a small scale run before, never mind a large scale event. I will be keeping well away from this one bring on London I say!!!

Timing is unfortunate, two weeks before VLM where I already have a paid for place, and very expensive. I want to support it but I am going to struggle to do so.

Route out today, not sure I fancy running along the victoria dock with people running towards me!!
Thought they would struggle for a good route and it looks like they have. too many twists and turns and pople running back along same roads for me.
Oh well lets hope its a good day for everyone!!

Great event well done to the organisers. Flat course great PB potential, heard comments around me about the route being poorly marked, but the maps have been on the website for months. Hope it becomes the annual event it deserves to be.
